Keep Those Fingers Together!!! - A Message to Priests! Stumbled upon this great article online and thought I'd post it here.  Let me make it clear, this is not an attack to priests.  However, I do agree with how priests should be handling the Host with the utmost care, reverence, and importance - so keep those fingers together! by:  Maniples Matter! Through my experiences of attending many churches who celebrate the Mass of Paul VI (Novus Ordo - I've decided to say the Mass of Paul VI, for that is what it is), if I knew not the priest's own devotion to Our Blessed Lord in the Most Holy Eucharist and was to assume the worst in everyone, I would assume that hardly any priest believed that Christ was truly there,  Body ,  Blood ,  Soul , and  Divinity . Receive Holy Communion on the TONGUE! This was at the #SYNOD2018.  It's horrible to see someone tried grabbing the Host from priest's hand! ONLY consecrated hands are allowed to touch the Host! Thank you Msgr. Guido Marini for enforcing receiving communion n the tongue! Should be also received kneeling! (for those who can) and this woman tried to TAKE the Host! Domine Iesu Christe, miserere nobis! This morning ahead of the Opening Mass of #Synod2018 Monsignor Guido Marini once again reminded Priests that under no circumstances whatsoever was Holy Communion to be given in the Hand at the Vatican.
