The Good Shepherd Battle Plan

Today, perhaps as never before in the history of the Catholic Church, Christians are faced with a demonic assault on faith and family that knows no bounds.  First and foremost, this is a spiritual battle that requires the use of spiritual weapons.  As Paul says in his letter to the Ephesians:

For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places.  Therefore, take up the full armor of God, so that you will be able to resist in the evil day, and having done everything, to stand firm. (Ephesians 6:12-13)

Today’s Church has become severely weakened by the compromises she has made with secular society in the vain attempt to become ‘more relevant’ to the modern world.  As a result, we have lost many of the spiritual weapons and practices that historically protected the laity and the Church from the powers of darkness.  Our Lady has repeatedly warned us of the chastisements we will face if we failed to follow her instructions.

We the Catholic faithful humbly, yet desperately, appeal to our good shepherds to act now to restore the spiritual weapons with which we might protect ourselves and our children from eternal damnation.  

Below is a battle plan for good shepherds which we entreat them to consider in order to strengthen the Catholic fortifications against the powers of darkness and help their flocks prevail in the battle for everlasting salvation.
