Five Cardinals and Two Prominent Bishops Speak About the End Times

Image
Yeah I know what you're thinking: "Here we go again with the 'End Times'. Why are we focusing on the end times? No one knows when will it happen". I have been discussing this topic with people.  Some do, and when I say 'some', I'm talking about maybe 2-3 people I know who keep up with the sign of time. The rest are always trying to shut me down and move on to next conversation. I guess some are scared of hearing it, or not interested and didn't want to talk about it. This time, it is not just me talking about this. Five (good) Cardinals and two Bishops discussed about this topic on interviews from  LifeSite , and they made a very good interesting point.  They are awake and keeping watch on the sign of time.  They are aware of the situation of the Holy Mother Church — the suffering, being abused, in darkness and reflecting on the church teaching about end times. One of the comments that struck me was  Bp. Schneider's take...

CoronaVirus — A Chastisement? A Wake Up Call?

We have heard about this deadly virus that is spreading all over the world, originated from Wuhan, China.  It is very alarming how deadly and quickly this virus spreads globally, yet it is rarely mentioned on mainstream media. From a religious point of view, could this be a chastisement? Perhaps, a wake up call? I don't know, we don't know.  With all the sin mankind has been committing, it is staggering. The immoralities: from abortion to euthanasia, homosexuality to transgenderism, sin of homosexual clergy, heresy, idolatry and lists goes on.. It's very obvious.  The world needs some cleansing as it is filled with filth.  It seems overdue. And if we look at what has been happening to catholic clergy/churches in china — they have been and are being persecuted by chinese government.  Churches have been demolished.  Catholics are forced to celebrate mass 'underground'. https://twitter.com/breeadail/status/1218141334109933568?s=20 Does chast...

Feast of the Epiphany

Source :  Aleteia It is a powerful blessing that lasts the whole year. Each year around the feast of the Epiphany many parishes throughout the world participate in an annual blessing of chalk. It is an ancient tradition that not only places God at the entrance of your home, it places your entire family under his protection. The Epiphany blessing of chalk and homes is a centuries old tradition where priests would visit each home in their parish after the Feast of the Epiphany. Over time it became more difficult to accomplish such a feat as parishes became larger and larger and priests were stretched thin. For this reason it became an accepted tradition that a member of the household is able to lead this blessing in place of the priest. The blessing has biblical roots, deeply tied to the Passover in the book of Exodus. The Lord said to Moses and Aaron in the land of Egypt … “take some of the blood [of the lamb], and put it on the two doorposts and the lintel of th...

Introduction Handbook and Prayers for the Association of the Auxilium Christianorum

Introduction The Church teaches us that it is divided into the Church Triumphant (which includes the members of the Church in heaven), the Church Suffering (thisincludes the members of the Church in purgatory) and the Church Militant (this refers to those members of the Church who are alive in this world). Because we are part of the Church Militant, we are in a spiritual warfare and this spiritual warfare requires that we recognize, as St. Paul teaches us, “For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood; but against principalities and powers, against the rulers of the world of this darkness, against the spirits of wickedness in the high places.” (Ephesians 6:12). The members of the Auxilium Christianorum should always bear in mind the reality of our state as members of the Church living in this world. Despite St. Paul’s teaching, many Catholics do not take seriously their obligation to wage war against the demonic forces. It isfor this reason that the Association of the Auxilium...
